Elisha Banai and The Forty Thieves in a special performance of the theme song for the TV series Elisha. Banai and The Forty Thieves began playing together in 2012 and have since released two albums. The first, Elisha Bani and The Forty Thieves, introduced hits such as “Barcelona,” “San Diego,” and “Ha-Kol Nisraf.” The group gained a reputation for its quality, innovative, and energetic live performances with a growing loyal fan base. There “mileage” includes hundreds of performances throughout Israel, and on the most prominent stages in festivals in Israel and abroad. In 2014, they released their second album The Speed of Light featuring hits such as, “Einstein” and “Noga Mihapeset Tzedek". Currently Elisha Bani and The Forty Thieves are working on their third album.

Elisha is a hit Israeli comedy TV series, starring Yuval Semo, broadcast on the Children’s Channel. Its main character is a forty-year-old bum who inherits NIS

1 million, but in order to get the money he needs to go back to elementary school.

The series won many prizes including, Best Comedy Series for Children and Youth and Best Sitcom of the Year.
