Arms dealing is an explosive business, especially when it turns out that both sellers and buyers are hot-headed and trigger-happy. In Boston of 1978, two gangs meet in a deserted factory to finalize an arms deal. They’re hoping for a smooth exchange, but a petty quarrel escalates into a lengthy and chaotic gunfight. A dream-team of actors – Oscar-winner Brie Larson, rising star Armie Hammer, and Sam Riley – embellishes prodigious British director, Ben Wheatley’s film. Although this wild crime comedy takes place mostly in one location, Wheatley and Amy Jump (co-writer and editor), imbibe it with outrageous humor and strokes of cinematic genius that leave viewers on the edge of their seats.
